I need a video card that I can use to do my web/graphic design, play videos really good, do some 3D animation on 3D Studio Max, and play my Sims 2/Sim City 4 games.

If you have a PCIe slot (or 2) get a 7900GT.
If you only have AGP then get a 7800GS (less performance than 7900GT for more money though) or a 6800GS.
If you have PCI then try for a FX5200 but that's pretty much the best you can get.

Well if you're not try high performance gaming then either a NVidia 7900 series or the ATI fireGL cards...
I don't think you'd see much performance enhancement from the SLI or crossfire since those technologies were developed specifically for games.
