Sure. Sometimes it happens. The first thing you need to remember is that you now have the opportunity to reinvent yourself. Go out somewhere for a walk alone - in nature (beach, park, river, the woods) and let your head clear out. Don't worry that you don't have the answer right at your fingertips. You're about to have it. Fill yourself with calm, with beauty and self-love and respect. Then think of a way to set your boundaries a little, so other people cannot hurt you. You will get through this in better shape than you think, and your hope will come back, if you don't expect all your problems to be resolved at once.
I think you have some kind of a gift because you make me want to be more humble. I'm probably old enough to be your mother, so it's powerful.

I always think back to analyze whether it truly is hopeless or if I'm just being too overwhelmed into thinking so. If after some thinking I come up with something, then it's not hopeless.

If it is truly hopeless, then by definition the problem cannot be solved. So I try to think whether there is a good way to "clean things up" and salvage whatever I can. Then I think about whether there was a lesson to be learned from this hopeless situation. Things such as: 1) what things went wrong to lead it to be this hopeless (was it hopeless to begin with or did I do something wrong or not do something right?) 2) whether or not the things that went wrong were totally out of my control.

In short, when faced with a truly hopeless situation, I would try to get as much out of it as I can and learn how to recognize the signs so that I can stay clear from similar situations in the future.

usually no..i keep trying till i see signs of success.. but sometimes we tend to be as a human being hasty ..that makes us lose hope although we know that by trying we WILL definitely do it...
in hopeless situations one should leave himself ( surrender ) to time which solves everything...
