Can someone tell me how(all the steps and settings) to make my v635(t-mobile) act as a modem on win xp?

I think you may mean E635?? If so, you cannot use it as a modem. Any motorola phone will serve as a modem via bluetooth or usb. You will need to add an internet option to your plan, which is 29.99 a month for unlimited, and it is fairly high speed, not quite as fast as cable or anything but way better than 56k. Once you have the option added to your plan you can either take your laptop to a t-mobile store or call their technical support which will walk you through setting up your internet settings to go through the phone. Takes about 10 minutes to set up, I've seen it done but don't remember how...

if u have bluetooth then go on my connetions and then search for new device and then pair with the phone and the click on it and it will tell u from there
