Lamborghini Gallardo.
tell your parents you'll get straight A's as long as you live if they get you this car.
otherwise, go out and get a job and start getting some loans and some credit under your belt and buy yourself a Lamborghini Gallardo and drive by your friend's house and say, "How You Like Me Now?"

I started drivng 4 yrs ago and I stated driving a 92 Honda Accord. At the time i thought it was ugly and i didnt like it, but as i grew up I realized a honda is the best! I had it for 2 yrs and only had to take it to the shop 2 times and they were both my fault. They are easy to drive and safe. Plus the gas mileage is incredable. It was my first car and I wish I still had it.

well my parents own a mustang. so thats what i am gonna probably have to learn with. my older sister did. but my mom said that a mustang probably isn't the best car to teach someone to drive responsibly in though. are you gonna have drivers ed at school this year? or no? Oh out of experience. Volvo isn't the "safest" car to drive.. especially as a beginner driver. Believe me i have seen what they look like after they run into a FORD F150. Pretty messed up believe me. I was in the F150 when the volvo hit us. and the F150 looked hurt but not like the volvo cuz dang the volvo was worse.

I learned in a Volkswagen Jetta III they are easy to drive both standard and automatic, they are inexpensive and very safe
I have been in 2 severe car accidents both of them were in Jetta III's, I was hit. The only injury i received was hitting my head off the window and i was fine the next day

Volvo! The worlds safest automobile! Also make sure they learn on one with a stick shift so they can drive anything they may need to in the future.

no 16 or 17 year old deserves a nice and fast car unless they buy it themself. So just get a Toyota/Honda/ford. They are the epitome of slow and ugly haha.

Every car I've ever driven has been a mercury grand marque or a variation of the same car (IE town car). They're big yeah but they are comfortable and easy to work on if needed

definately needs to be a stick.( manual transmission) No pansy automatic transmission. If you can drive a stick, you will never have to worry about "Not knowing how to drive that kind of car".
I'd have to say a Honda, they're kinda cheap, have good gas mileage, inexpensive to repair, they run forever and the insurance is low on them.
