What is the theory as to why women drive very fast sports cars? I know that when it comes to men, they are trying to make up for some inadequasies.

Are you saying that only men can drive sports cars? And what that women should only drive minivans? I think you need to get your stereotypes straight before you ask questions like this.

depends what you mean by "sports car" but, maybe because they are trying to prove that they can do stuff that a guy can do. But once the car breaks down then it is once again up to the man to fix it so the woman can go back to trying to look cool and pick up men.

I drive a very fast sports car, I am not trying to make myself look smaller (5 ft tall, 113 lbs), am not ugly (ck out the 360), and don't need to compensate for anything. I drove "MOM" cars when my kids were little. Now, I don't need to have something that a car seat will fit into. And, gee, it's FUN!!!!!!

No, seriously -- some of us women also like the power, ride and appearance of sports cars, think they will make other people think we are cool, rich. etc.

the conventional wisdom to which you refer is that when OLD men drive sports cars, they are trying to compensate for erectile dysfunction.
when YOUNG people, male or female, drive sports cars, it generally indicates that they LIKE SPORTS CARS!!

I drive a sports car and i have no inadequacies. i also drive a truck. what does that mean?

are you trying to say women shouldn't drive sports cars. I think they should drive any car that suits them. i love sports cars. i am a sports car fananic. i love corvettes, vipers, and almost any sports cars.
