For the last 2 days, when I get up in the morning, I have fallen over because I have no balance. Through the day I experience this off and on. Today it has started to make me feel sick. I have also been having hot flashes with some of the dizzy episodes. Any guesses anyone. Thanks for any answers

does this sound like your symptoms?

Vertigo, sometimes called a headrush, is a major symptom of a balance disorder. It is the sensation of spinning while the body is stationary with respect to the earth or surroundings. With the eyes shut, there will be a sensation that the body is in movement, called subjective vertigo; if the eyes are open, the surroundings will appear to move past the field of vision, called objective vertigo.

The effects may be slight. It may cause nausea or, if severe, may give rise to difficulty with standing and walking. Vertigo is usually associated with a problem in the inner ear balance mechanisms (vestibular system), in the brain, or with the nerve connections between these two organs. The most common cause is benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, or BPPV. Vertigo can be a symptom of an underlying harmless cause, such as in BPPV or it can suggest more serious problems. These include drug toxicities, strokes or tumors (though these are much less common than BPPV).

I had the opposite problem. Symptoms SO very different, but ended up being the same sex. I am having another boy (unless there's going to be a little surprise but have seen the ultrasound "turtle" twice) and with my first I was a bit nauseated, not really sick, and fatigue all day. This time I had full out morning sickness, even sending me to the ER because I couldn't even keep water down, and fatigue only for about an hour in the afternoon. We all thought it was a girl. My face also broke out really bad unlike it getting better when I was pregnant the first time.

It could be an ear infection, but it could also be something more serious.... don't mess around with something like that. It's an indicator that something could really be wrong. I'm not trying to worry you, of course, but I'm just making sure you understand that when your dizziness is that severe, it could be something serious.... get your ears checked out, first and foremost, then go from there. Best Wishes!

You might have vertigo which affects your inner ear. That will throw off your balance and make you feel dizzy. My friend has that. You also could just have an ear infection which can cause the same thing.

How old are you? It all depends on age too. It can be a number of things.

Pregnancy, Menopause, not eating enough, hormone imbalance..etc. I would see your doctor, if I were you!
