ok. i go to a school in baton rouge. my school looks like one of those huge hotels that be in movies. so one section is for the girls and the other have are for girls. we have all girls/all boys classes(including P.E.),we do not each with boys. we cannot associate with the boys when we change classes.we cannot be in the library when the boys are in there.only time we associate is on our way to school,until the bell rings, and when it's time to go home. we do ride the bus together. our school sucks!!!

our school is under survielleance with the school board office, our test scores are soo low and our school might be taking over by the state

I personally would not send my children to an all boys/all girls school neither would I send them to a school that separates the genders as I think that there is a lot to be gained with the social interaction of girls/boys. Maybe the idea is that the focus is on learning rather that the person you have the hots for sitting behind you but I doubt in reality that separation increase the chances of you getting a better education. I think with them being right there on the premises but no social contact allowed makes either gender to the other a more forbidden fruit!

The comment about starting to turn gay was pretty lame, but to get to the question, It's dumb, Than you'll have sexest males and females, You wont learn more because your mind will be on the boys and then you wont focuse on your work after school because you want to catch up with the others... it's dumb

i think that is a dumb idea. it's like the forbidden fruit thing: you want what you can't have. you're more likely to go boy crazy when you're done with school because you've barely even seen one during the school year. You can have all-girls schools and all-boys schools, but what your school is doing is like cramming those two into one building and still trying too keep them only one gender.

I THINK ITS STUPID!In my school were seperated in gym too!!!!!!I cant even talk to one!Dont see why they seperate us..They probably think we will do something dirty?Or something?There arent no reason to seperate us.We can see each other in class,lunch,hallway and outside...But not gym..It used to be fun till i figured out they put that big thing between the gym..
Well it must suck to have a boyfriend =/

as an adult I feel it limits the learning of socialization skills....therefore I oppose it.
