Yes. u can claim jsa straight away as long as u dont quit, u have 2 be sacked. but make sure u go 2 the job centre straight away as u can get housing benefit as well, u need 2 get it sorted or else u'll end up with rent arrears.u also need 2 ring the child tax credit place and tell then ur change of circumstances, if u dont tell them and u get overpaid by them they'll claim the money back. good luck

It depends how they dismiss you, if it is through redundancy or pay off then you will be able to claim JSA.
If you are dismissed you can be disqualified from claiming for up to 26 weeks, but obviously they would have to take into consideration that you have family.

If you were sacked, I think you have to wait about 6 weeks to sign on. If you were made redundant, then you can sign on straight away. Contact your local DSS office for more info. GOOD LUCK!

Yes you can. If you'd quit your job it would be a different matter, I think you'd have to wait about 6 weeks. But if they sack you then you can claim right away.
