What do you think of the Y&R and Victor's new personality? Brad Carlton and his secret past?
I guess overall how would you rate it 1 - 10: 10 being the highest.

I have watched Y&R for many years and I catch it when I can now, but my mom and my sister watch it at night on the SoapNetwork and give me a blow by blow over the phone.
Victor's new personality=6 (I prefer for Victor to be strong, dominating, and ominous)
Brad Carlton's secret past=5(It just seems odd that in all the years that Brad has been in Genoa City that he has never exhibited any traits of a killer. He went from a gardener to a major player in big business scene. I just find it hard to believe. But then again, it is the soaps and anything can happen!)

I believe Victor's new illness is a focus that
they want people to understand.
Brad, well it is not going to be so secret
soon. I rate it at 9. I have watched this program
for over 20 years now. A great soap.

It's interesting what Y&R has done with Victor - to highlight epilepsy is kind of a public service. Parts of his personality are just bonkers, but nice, other gentle parts of him have come out - very child-like. I'm just waiting for all the Brad stuff to get blown wide open! He deserves to be in a middle of a mess, and actually I wouldn't mind if he left the show - I have never, ever liked his character. For all the interesting story lines, like with Phyllis' pregnancy, and the Nick and Sharon conflict, I'm giving Y&R a 9!

I would have to give it a 9. The storylikes are new and fresh, unlike The Bold And The Beautiful where you see Stephanie and Brooke going at it all the time. Jack and Victor but heads but usually over different issues. Brad's past is beginning to unravel and he is powerless to stop it. I am really curious to see how that story turns out. As for Victor, it's nice to see him more laid back, but I feel it will only be temporary. Onec they get to the root of his problems, we will be back to norman, but in the mean time, Jack is capitolizing on his illness and inability to make a savvy business decision.
