There is a movie being made right now starring Dakota Fanning called Hounddog. About a girl who is repeatedly sexually assaulted but finds hope in Elvis's music. The film will show the 12 year old Dakota Fanning, in several seens topless in her panties and a full blown rape scene. Now I might have given this movie a shot becuase I think Dakota is a great young actress, but I feel there is just no need to show a nude 12 year old being raped. I think we could have gotten the picture with a simple headshot .

Well I can think of the Denzel movie Out of Time, there were a lot of scenes that should have been left out...I was sitting there going ok I get it now move on to the next scene. It was a bad movie, his acting was great but the plot sucked.

In Alfred Hitchcock's "The 39 Steps", there's a scene in which an angry farmer starts smacking his wife around (off-camera) because she helped the protagonist earlier. The scene doesn't really contribute anything to the movie, as those characters are never seen again.

The movie "Bastard out of Carolina" dont watch it if you have not seen it. There is a scene with a little girl it was too much for me. Should never put something like that in a movie.

I have seen several movies that I would have enjoyed more if some of the violent scenes had been Left out.

I think in The Break-up with Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston, the whole stripper scene should not have been in there. It totally destroyed his character having any ounce of dignity when she walked back in. There is making a girl jealous and then going into unforgiveable.

If you've ever seen the deleted scenes for Napoleon Dynamite, you know that the kickball scene was the funniest thing EVER, and that they should have left anything out to get that one in!!!
That was a really good question, btw! :)

Hitch, Eva Mendes should've been left out. The funny part was Kevin James and the supermodel, I didn't care that much about Will Smith's romance.

I liked Braveheart, but in real life William Wallace never had an affiar with another woman after his wife was murdered, they should have left that out. He said he would never be with another woman and he never was.
