its easy take side panel of then look where your 1st harddrive is,its connected to a grey ribbon.if the ribbon has got two clips add the other harddrive to this clip.1 hd pin set to Master 2hd pin set to slave.You will see a diagram on the back of your hd.Please make sure pc is turned off then when you open touch the side of the power supply box this then earth's you so that you don't affect the circuitboard's ok.give it a go it's easy maccano was harder.

connect the cable to the motherboard ( depending on what type of HD you want to plug. create a partition with a partitioner like partition magic. you can install an os but it's not necessary if you only use it form storage. oh yea if there is any problem check the position of the jumper on the back of the HD. don't put it master because your first HD is probably the master one . good

easy,when you add a 2nd hard drive firstly go to the makers website and check the jumper settings,and set your 2nd drive to slave ,then open up your p.c and locate the ide cable going to your hard drive ,you will have to swap this with a 2 plug ide cable ,and when you have you should add your slave to the next plug from your motherboard and the master drive to the end plug

The easy way is to add an external hard drive. It just hooks up by USB port.

open the box check you have room for one and connect to the second ide cable and the other end of the cable to you motherboard
shut the box and boot you system

make sure you set the jumper on the back to slave then hook it up and you may ahave to format it but windows should tell you that.
