the companies are selling replicas (different from counterfeiters) and should advertise as such. their brand is so distinctly different, that it may not violate intellectual property laws or they have a license to make the replica. real rolex watches have mechanisms and characteristics that are hard to copy. most people that buy fake rolexes know they are not real. if its not sold by an authorized rolex dealer and you dont have a warranty from rolex, then its not real.

if people are dumb enough to purchase a replica and think its real then that's on them. also, for the counterfeit watch makers, it is like tracking down money counterfeiters, its hard to catch them.

They're made in China and imported illegally. No reputable sales outlet can sell them, only guys on the streets of NYC or junky tourist shops in Mexico. The cops of NYC have more on their minds than chasing the Africans out of Battery Park, and the Mexican police are probably paid to look the other way.
