friend help?

how can i tell if someone is my friend or not? she could just be trying to be nice to me.

It's hard to tell. I don't think there is such a thing. Every person I have tried to get close to ends up taking advantage of me or hurting me. Just keep somewhat of a distance. Don't tell too personal things that might back fire in the long run. I trusted my friend with my life, told them everything. It wasn't a good idea. People are out for theirselves and if they get a chance, they will turn on you. It is hard to find good friends. Just be very careful.
