I think the phrase he uses most often is "independent." He is "independent" in the sense that he doesn't blindly swallow the Republican stance on everything. While he is conservative on MOST issues, he occasionally takes the "liberal" position. He is very critical of Bush on some issues.
But to say he is "moderate" is a joke!

He's got your sorry butt watching him? So, just go out there and make more sense than he does, and get your own show and get better ratings - go for it! Why worry about what other people think of Bill O'Reilly - he doesn't care what you think, and neither does anyone else?
All you liberals worrying about Fox News - it really busts your humps that Fox News is watched by so many people... Do you know why - I keep repeating myself - because Fox News gives BOTH sides to the story, and libs hate that - because they don't even believe that there is more than ONE side to any story...

I've watched Bill O'Reilly frequently. I've never heard him call himself a "Moderate". I've heard him call himself an "Independent" many times.
Sometimes the Right Wing is "a noid". Sometimes the Left Wing is "a noid". I guess that makes them "pair a noids". (For those of you who went to public school in the last 20 years, that is what you call a "pun". 'pair a noids' = 'paranoids'. I hope it got a groan out of you.)

The real question should be:
"Does Bill O'Reilly think?"

Ah, but you're forgetting one VERY important detail.
Bill O'Reilly is out of his tiny, twisted, wicked little mind.

He is.
He is a very moderate for a right-wing-elitist-hypocitical-extremist Conservative.
