oops, sounds like a paternity test. At 5 weeks a doctor should tell you give or take 5 days. Even with ultrasounds etc. embryos will grow at their own rate...they're little human beings that way. Unless you know the exact date of the start of your last period and the average days your periods usually last it would be hard to detect the exact date of conception.

You can calculate the pregnancy weeks. This will be counting the weeks up until the due date. Then there is the gestation period which is about a week that the doc's do not add into the calcluation. It takes about a week for the sperm to actually get comfortable with the egg. This includes sperm enters egg, egg heals the enterance from the sperm entering and the sperm getting nestled inside the egg. Do you see what I mean? So technically the actual conception starts a week after all that went down. Hope you understand. Good Luck!!!

well it depends on how many days she has in a cycle
ex. she has a 30 day cycle and the first day of her last period was March 14th her ovulation is between the 25-28th of March, so she had to get pregnant on one of those days. after the 28th the chances of getting pregnant are a little lower.

ther is no way at all to tell except to get a dna test. Even by having a sonagram it is not accurate enough especially talkin about a week apart. To accuse one guy to be the dad is wrong for the baby and him and a guilt you or your friend will not get over. All you can do is wait, i know it is hard and embarrasing but this is in no ones hands no more..dna is the only option.

Wow, that is really confusing. No wonder youa re confused, becasue I can't make heads or tails of it. I assume this is in question because of the date of the breakup? I would say she needs to ask a doctor. If she can get a ballpark idea of when it happened, she can probably figure out when she got pregnant.

I agree, DNA is the only way to go. Then you will know 100% who the dad is or not. Ok, maybe 99.9999% but you get my drift.
