I know that I can make a quilt any size I want, but what is the standard size for a twin, queen, and king? I have made a quilt, but I don't know size wise if it is a full or queen. My dimentions are 85x100.

A typical queen size quilt is 84 x 92. For the record, a twin is 63 x 87, a full (or double) is 78 x 87, and a king is 100 x 92. This is based on a drop (how far it extends on the sides) of about 3" below the bottom edge of the mattress.

The second link has a calculator for figuring quilt sizes depending on how far you want it to drop and the size (and thickness) of your mattress.

Below is a link to the info that you are looking for. A quilt is about the size of a flat sheet.

I would say it would fit a queen size bed with a dust ruffle or a low down double bed. If you want other information, try a Sears Catalogue or the equivalent and check the sizes on the bedding. Just as you said you can make it any size you want and really what is in a name
