It's normal sometimes but if you're really concern call your Dr they should be able to tell you over the phone whether it's something you need to be seen for to save you $$ of an unnecessary appt.

I had that same type of discharge for about five days after my period last month and this month I have found out that I'm pregnant... hope that would be good news for you.

dark brown blood is old blood. Just like a blood stain on a shirt gets browner as it gets older - same thing. It seems it is just some old trapped blood coming out. This has happened to me.

exactly what ^^^^^said.......
discharge is old blood that your body is releaseing that had not been release during your period this is completely normal. However if it concerns you alot go to your doctor. That is your best bet.
