It is in Chattisgarh state. Jagdalpur is the headquarters of Bastar district, which incidentally is the largest district in India. It is 300 Kms from Raipur and Vishakhapatnam, which are the nearest airports. Jagdalpur is connected to Vishakapatnam by train which takes around 12 hours. There is only one train daily each way.
