Although I do agree that you should be careful about the basics of grammar, you absolutely can get into a university - depending on your grades.

Contact UCAS. You should be able to go into clearing when the results are announced. The UCAS website will give more info.

Many people use this route as a way to change course if they have changed minds since Xmas, got better or worse grades etc

Contact the university you're interested in to see if you're able to enroll in their classes in the fall. By this time, the university knows how many people will actually be attending in the fall, so they will be able to tell you whether or not they have space. Universities always make exceptions , so as long as you present yourself as a hardworking dedicated individual, I'm sure they will be willing to help. Also, if you're not allowed to enroll full-time, perhaps you can take classes part-time? So you would have 2 or 3 classes during the week, and in your free time you can work. That way you won't miss a year of school and still get some of the courses out of the way.

Also, consider going to college. A lot of small colleges have very specific programs, and their application deadlines are usually extended. So you can go to college for a year, get some courses under your belt and then transfer to a university in the fall with some of your courses already completed. I hope this helps! Good luck.

Don't go to college to get a good job, go to get educated. It is never too early or late. If you don't know what you want to DO, then you might know what you want to BE, that is educated, open-minded, tolerant of diversity, friends with different kinds of people, on your own, disciplined, motivated, caring of others.all things you can learn in college.
Take the basics, for 2 years, and a class you haven't taken yet will appeal to you and get you excited to learn more. May be forensics, may be English Lit, or French or World History, or botany. Follow where it leads you.
Meanwhile, if you can't figure out what you want to DO, figure out what you like to read about. If it is comic books, take art, if it's costumes, take theatre, if it's video games, take electronics, if bicycles, engineering, if it's kids, take psychology.
College is 75% reading and writing. So you better like to read about something.
Don't wait another minute. Good luck.

suggest you contact UCAS asap. See link re clearing - it is not too late.

However, it is no bad thing to have a gap year, a few years down the line one year makes no difference, so consider working for a year and applying for next year if you can't get the course you want.

good luck
