The problem with your question is that you asked the wrong people. I think most people like people based on varied reasons.

But, often, it seems that fat people don't like themselves. They are unhappy and find that food is their escape from their inner torment.

Diets are great and many of them are good, many are not. But I feel your question really need to go to the people who are obese and ask them if they lost weight, would they like themselves more. I think most of them would.

In all honesty I like "fat" people as friends, but have never been, nor will ever be, physically attracted to one.

i think it's great that you love your wife so much, regardless of her weight. i wish more people would not be so judgmental when it come to plus-sized women. they can be just as fun and sexy and loving as smaller ladies.

p.s. you should call her plus-sized instead of fat; she would probably appreciate that a lot more

I like people based on their personality. I think it sucks royally that people judge other people because they're overweight.
