I read in Fodor's France 2006 edition that it costs around $20 to develop a single roll of camera film. Is this true? That seems really expensive to me

you could try the chain "photostation".
it is one of the cheapest.

Photo Service and FNAC are quite expensive.

Yes...film development is very expensive in France...You will be better off taking the films home with you and having them developed locally.

sophie's right, photostation is cheaper! You could also find some independant shops in many cities, and in malls.

everything is more expensive in france.they have been paying $6.00 a gallon for gas.it's probably more now.
