I read Scarlet. It took me a long time to decide to since it is written by another author. I did enjoy it, though once I finally decided to read it.
I am reading Great Lion of God by Taylor Caldwell. I prefer writers from another period it seems.

Book 5 of Steven King's Dark Tower Series... The Wolves of The Calla. Not bad so far, but I think the first 4 books were better so far, especially Wizard & Glass. Nice nickname, by the way... any shout out to Pink Floyd is always a good thing, especially to the late Syd Barrett.

Mercy Unbound by Kim Antieau. It's a good book.
Other recent reads include Specials by Scott Westerfeld, Just Listen by Sarah Dessen, Jumping the Scratch by Sarah Weeks, Time's Memory by Julius Lester, and Here Lies the Librarian by Richard Peck.

Crocodile on the Sandbank by Elizabeth Peters
The 1st book in the Amelia Peabody Series. I read through the series years ago and wanted to enjoy it again.
BTY, I use unabridged audio books, so that I can do more than just sit and read. The narrator is Barbara Rosenblat @ Recorded Books Inc. She is a wonderful narrator, using her voice in amazing ways to portray the different characters in the book.

I'm reading To the Power of Three by Laura Lippman. About 130 pages into it and finding it a little confusing at times.. Every chapter has a different lead character so it's a bit jumpy, but the story is very good :)

I've actually got 3 started. They are: Sleeping with Fear by Kay Hooper, The Silver Anniversary Murder by Lee Harris, and Prior Bad Acts by Tami Hoag. I can't wait to get done with those, so I can start Dead Watch by John Sandford and In the Dark of the Night by John Saul.
