Why is it that in the Director's cut of the original game while at the beginning of the movie sequence the dogs eat the guy and Jill screams "Forest!" and then forest is suddenly upstairs later in the game? And in RE nemesis in the room with the huge heavy bell at the end of the room is there a dead CLAIRE REDFIELD next to the door? Doesn't that **** up the game stories?

I hate to call you on this, but in the Directors Cut of Resident Evil 1, while Forest is the one killed by the cereberus dogs, he isn't found upstairs in the Directors Cut.
In the versions that Forest Speyer is found on the terrace, it is Joseph Frost who died in the opening cutscene.

Oh, and in Resident Evil 3, the woman in the room with the three clocks is not Claire Redfield. The events of Resident Evil 3 take place before and after Resident Evil 2 (Before and after midnight when Jill passes out after fighting clock-tower Nemesis), and Claire was already well on her way with Leon out of town by then.

You would think so, I guess they just hope that gamers don't notice that they kill off people before they even mean to.
