Is it normal to have large blood clots and EXTREAMLY painful cramps during a women's period?

I guess it's pretty common, I know i always had big clots.....Gross

Blood clots, yes. Large blood clots, perhaps. Very large blood clots, no. Call your gyno and see what they define as large. They may want to check you out, plus they can put you on a prescription to ease with the cramps. I was on Ponstel for a while.

It's normal, but still, most people go and get it fixed. Visit your gynocologist and get on a standard prescription for the pill. It's not just for birth control, it reduces heavy bleeding, clotting, and cramps during periods. You seem like a good candidate for going on the pill and having these problems resolved fast, so just schedule an appointment to get it checked out.

Your uterus is shedding the lining since no baby was attached, so the shedding comes off in pieces. this is generally common. Some chunks can get really big. some periods are just bloody with no chunks. and don't forget that you do not ovulate every single month. You are not a chicken. Even if you got a period does not mean you ovulated.

yes it is normal it all depends on how big the clots are i would go to the drs to see
