Star Trek is great! It's entertaining, thought provoking and sometimes exciting. It has its shortcomings like any show but by far, all the series are some of the best dramatic shows ever to have existed.
I understand that the characters don't talk and communicate in a popular way accepted by mainstream society (pop culture.) Sometimes the plots don't make any sense and the shows are full of contradictions. But those negative traits don't out weigh how great the franchise is!

I like Voyager and Enterprise- my husband likes everything about Star Trek. He has the entire collection of the original series on DVD and also all the Star Trek movies on DVD.

Welllllllllll My fiancee is a HUGE star trek fan (no not a nerdy treky), he loves um ALL (he even has all the movies). Me personally the only one I like is Voyager...I love when women kick *** hahaha. I though that NG SUCKED!!! Probubly the worsed one EVER!

I'm a fan. I grew up watching NG, never got too much into Voyager but I was a big fan of DS9.

Ooh, ooh, me, me!! I've been a huge trekkie since I was a little kid - my dad and I used to watch TNG all the time. He would tape it, and then during the summer I'd watch all the tapes and label them with the episode titles for him. Star Trek kicks butt :)

Next generation was the best,and the movies it spawned. I'm thinking of getting the seasons on dvd if the price ever go's down.
