my friend is 15 and he still sleep with a stuffed animal and uses a night light BUT he is normal besides that...is it weird?

No thats not weird. I'm 20 and still sleep with stuffed animals....and I leave the bathroom light on. Out of habit more than anything

Admit it. This isn't about "your friend." You are the one who still sleeps with a stuffed animal. If it really was your friend, you'd be making fun of him on here instead of asking for real help.

no thats ok stuffed animals are cudely and sometimes people use night lights to see in the middle of the night if they have to pee.but if thats not the case than i guess that he is just afraid of the dark.

He just has a very strong attachment to those things from his childhood. There's nothing particularily wrong with it. I still have a nightlight, and so do some of my friends. It's just something that's not discussed, so it seems strange.

A little. Maybe your friend has some underlying issues. Those things may help him feel safe in some way. I wouldn't dog him too much for it. Have you ever asked him why?

No...I'm sure that there are things that you do that wouldn't be considered normal by everybody. We all do weird things, but only a few of us are truly weird.
