Metallica because they sound a LOT better... to me at least... and Nickelback just doesn't make the kind of music that I prefer to listen to... So yeah, Metallica.

No competition here, Metallica hands down.
Metallica made really good music for a long time, but also different they lead a trend. Nickelback just follows a trend trying to make music that will make money, they suck, i wish that guy would just stop whining like a baby already, enjoy his money, & gtfo my radio

Old school Metallica from "Kill Em All" to "And Justice For All" anyday...
Nickelback rocks! I would definitely listen to them before I listen to any new Metallica....
But!!! I've heard Rick Ruben is to record the new Metallica album... and it will prolly be the sh*t!

I am a HUGE fan of Nickelback, so I am tempted to say them, however when you are comparing with a band such as metallica, its a hard choice...
Im going to be loyal.. Nickelback for my personal prefrence!
