can you wear this in autumn?
in early october...(basically in a climate where autumn is how you would expect it to be)...if its not absolutely freezing outside, is this an apporpriate outfit? okay.. a lacy silk cami under a black quilted JACKET (not coat). is it weird to wear a cami under a jacket...because you couldnt take the jacket off....?? so is that a good outfit...it looks cute together...but i just didnt know about wearing a cami under a jacket.

I think this owuld be ok, but probably best with jeans and boots. Then you have a fading look of summer as the fall comes on strong. Not a bad look!

Here's my take:
1. The combination itself will not look strange.
2. It's best-suited to a club or restaurant where you WOULD take off the jacket and then have the slinky cami underneath.
3. When I lived back east, they overheated everything: subways, classrooms, you name it. So to be in a situation where you wouldn't feel comfortable taking off the jacket, could be a problem.
I would recommend adding another layer: a thin cotton hoodie over the cami but under the quilted jacket, or a light cotton cardigan (snug fit with a vintage feel might be cute) if you prefer. That way you can still have the cami peeking out (if that's what you want) but you won't feel undressed if you start to overheat.

You may have a little bit of a problem. If you want to take the jacket off you'll be too cold and if you leave the jacket on you'll be too hot. I think you should go with a sweater. Try www.anthropologie.com for some cute sweaters. Good Luck!

If it looks cute and you're comfortable in it then you can wear it. But I would probably pack a shirt or something just incase you get too hot for the coat but it's too cold for the cami.

I think it looks really cute but it depends where you live.. like if you live somewhere that its going to end up getting hott as the day goes by (that happens where i live when its autumn) but other then that yes it looks really cute and im sure you will look really cute too
