Frigteningly high compared with ten years ago - between E25k and 30k.within 30 miles of Dublin, probable E5k less in the West. However so is the cost of living very high especially housing, food and drink

Is that 10,000 Irish pounds? I know that the Irish pound is not worth as much as the English pound. 10,000 English pounds would be around $25,000. That's not too bad. If memory serves, though, 10,000 Irish pounds is only about $8,000. That's near starvation wages
