Press the power button. It's a circle with an icon on it: a gray semi-circle with a vertical line coming out of the top part.

What kind of mac is it? The I Mac's have a flat button on the back of the monitor (left side near bottom as you look at it).

You look at the processor, see what buttons are available for you to push. Obviously there is no other option but to push the bigger button and then your computer should then turn on! Magic.
