They're nothing but poseurs...comfy my @ss, they spend half the time hiking their drawers up.

The honest truth about that "low pants look" comes from gang and jail culture. It's a gang signal that you've been to jail and have been experienced in a "certain way" that you show off your backside to other men. It's a psychological subservience, to show you've been punked.

It's a cool look. My nephew wears his clothes like this and my sis and mom hate it. they say the same thing too about the job thing. I guess society has to stick with the traditional "western law ways" umhum racism subliminary tactics being used "to judge".

it is a fashion plot to lower the crime rate these pants that hang off people asses prevent them from fleeing from cops plus it brings humor to our world it if don't beleive me you sure haven't seen a man in baggy clothes run then and it is a fact that the crime rate has dropped due to this fashion trend so I don't mind them at all

my professor actually stated that that fad actually came from a prison. They jailors there wanted to be the rebels that they are, so they dressed that way, too.So I don't know how it got out to the youg people, but it's kind of horrible that kids don't know where that fad came from.Plus, it's disgusting. I mean, who wants to see your ***?
