There is never a winner in war. The problem is that Lebanon is not at war with Israel. There are terrorists in Lebanon, but the country as a whole is suffering for it. I would be like us declaring war on Utah because we found a bunch of terrorists there.

This is a fight to which there is no winner. Because the fight is between the "Jews" and the "Arabs", a battle that has been going for centuries. It is both biblical and cultural. They (Israel) fight to keep the land promised to them. But I do say that Israel have the right to defend themselves at all costs. I am not siding with one or the other but whats real is real.

Lebanon cannot "win" anything because their fractured society has already fallen apart.
That's what happens when you pretend to be a "progressive democracy" but really you are just harboring a terrorist army inside your towns.
I'm sad to see it, but Lebanon has no one but themselves to blame for the destruction of their country.
Until reasonable Muslims do something about the violent, criminal Jihadist in their ranks, the future holds nothing but misery and bloodshed for them.

Well if Israel accomplishes her goals then both countries will win. It will be the eradication of the terrorist group Hezbollah which has taken over a good part of Lebanon.

It's not against Lebanon, it's against Hezbollah, the terrorist. If the Lebanese government had the country in check they wouldn't have these guys there. Both countries could benefit from this.
