If it has crashed then the computer will never reboot and you will have to use another system to recover the files. If you don't know how to do this, there are companies that can recover data for a fee. A quick internet search will show you these companies.

Take the hard disk out and hook it up in another computer as a slave and extract your files.You may also be able to repair the boot sector.I would probably just try to repair the boot sector.The NTDLR may be compressed or missing.

you can try doing a repair on the hard disk with the windows cd. If the disk is making noises, then you can probably forget it. But try the repair first.
