It is a shakespeare play. I've never been to an opening night I wasn't performing in. Should I dress up?

Just wear something nice...like a skirt and a cute top and nice shoes. Look classy and attractive, to let him know you are there supporting him. It doesn't need to be too fancy, and really depends on the theatre. It is always good advice to dress like a lady.

I think if you just look nice he will appreciate it. I have found that entertainment is a very casual business. Unless he's doing an opening on Broadway then you can wear whatever you think he will like.
The only time I dressed up like really fancy was the Phantom of the Opera Gala in January. Talk about lavish.

Hey Brianna.
If I was going to a play to support a boyfriend, I would dress up a little.Normally I don't wear jewelry except on special occasions.
But even then,it's something nice but simple.
If you two are truely meant to be together,just being there to show your love and support will let him know you truely care about him.

It really depends on the theater. If he is getting payed to act then yes. But make sure you are not TOO dressed up. If he is volunteering then consider wearing a nice top and a skirt or dress pants.
DO NOT WEAR JEANS!

I think a nice dress, not too much, but not too casual, just something that fits you nice, and the hair is very important pay attention to how you fix your hair, which will depend on the dress you wear...
