Definitely. Clinical studies have shown that ear acupuncture and acupressure have had a significant impact in comparison to anti-hypertension drugs. Eastern medicine in general is the right choice, as what you are dealing with stem from diet, poor exercise and/or stress. I have a family history of hypertension, but have not shown the symptoms since I began exploring Traditional Chinese Medicine. Do yourself, and your heart, a favor. Find a reputable practitioner in your area that you can feel comfortable with. Check with your local Holistic Center to get recommendations.
