One question do you see your relationship as a joke? No, right, so neither should he. The decision is yours to
leave him or not. I advise find someone who is as serious as you in terms of a relationship and truly respects you. Plus what he to the other person has no justification and it wasn't nice. Do you want to be with someone like that?

Take care Good luck. :)

I agree with the very first answer. He was not joking. That is just his pathetic, lame excuse to try to cover the fact that he wanted to date another girl. I would run away from this guy as soon as you possibly can. You can believe him, because it is ultimately up to you, but that will most likely only end in a broken heart. Think about next time when the girl he is "joking" around with says yes.. Thats not exactly a pretty picture. You should dump this guy and and find a guy that will love and respect you the way you deserve!!!

Dump him, but I would want to know what lead up to the joke, thus being the reasining behind his asking some other girl out. If he hesitates or never answers the question and makes excuses, then he sounds like someone who you cannot trust, and just made up an excuse to try and stay with you as well as go out with the other girl. You busted him and he is looking for a way out.

If it was a joke when he asked this other girl out, how can you be sure he didn't ask you out as a joke?

He's being a jerk and not realizing how much a relationship means. If it doesn't mean as much to him as it does to you, you need to dump him and find someone who shares your perspective.

Coming from experience (my husband once said during a disagreement after calling me a rather tart name, he'd rather have gone to see strippers instead of coming home to me, then swore up and down it was a joke). Turns out it wasn't such. I found his profile on several single's sites a few months later. Don't take it so lightly. If he actually went through the process and did the deed, then most likely he is on the hunt. You be the judge. Best wishes.

Either 1.) He is lying like hell to you just to cover it up or 2.) He did play a joke on some girl, but it was totally wrong and if he did it for real when that girl finds out and winds up broken hearted she is totally going to go off on that fella. Either way its wrong and he shouldn't have lied or did ir for real. I would be kinda pissed, but I would give it some more time if youlove him and see if something like this happens again. If it does I would drop him and find someone else.

Yeah he was once slightly insensitive... while you confront him how did he react? he begin being anxious after striking a giant shock face...and if he hold appearing bizarre it was once in most cases no longer shaggy dog story..but when he does seem love it was once a shaggy dog story..you recognize form of guffawing while you ask him or he slightly care that imply that he was once simply joking.. i am sorry i will be able to take his aspect...i do not believe he's or was once dishonest..i believe he was once in most cases simply joking..however he relatively was once insensitive...this can be intent he relatively did not wish to have a child or that is his approach to recover from it..(much more likely)

even if it was a joke why would you want to be with someone who is mean like that.. if you believe his line that it was just a joke then the joke is on you for being naive..

ok i think you should warn him and if he gets angry or anything then you dump him but if he accepts it and everything goes on like normal then stick with it, but if things start getting weird then i suggest that you dump him coz then it means there is someone else or his feelings are busy fading.
