My current IE browser window will automatically close when I try to open a new window or when I click on a link that opens a new window. Can someone tell me how I can solve this problem?

Click Tools, then Internet Options. Click the Advanced tab, then scroll down and look for Reuse windows for launching shortcuts. Uncheck this box.

If this doesn't work, this may be happening if you recently installed a toolbar. Uninstalling it along with any extras that installed with it should do the trick.

TRY THIS;

Open your internet explorer
from the menu on top, Click tools
then go to Internet Options
then go to advanced tab
under BROWSING category
REUSE WINDOWS FOR LAUNCHING SHORTCUTS should be unchecked

then click apply
then click OK

that should do! :)

Try restarting your computer. Then 2x IE and wait for a window to open, then click again for another one to open.
