Republicans logic... "well they are doing poorly so we will give them less money"
*bangs head on wall*
it doesn't make any sense... and they keep mandating programs like No Child Left Behind, which forces the school systems to do testing and follow certain rules... but it doesn't fund the changes... so that takes EVEN more money away...
I think the Republicans are trying to ruin that school system so they (elite taxpayers) don't have to pay for it anymore... and so they can pay people less, since the poor will have less education..

I'm hoping you're not from the United States. If you are, you might want to read the Constitution before posting questions like this. It's not the federal governments job to spend any money on schools. The states are responsible for school funding. My tax dollars should not pay for school in a state I don't live in.
Why is the answer to failing schools always to throw more money at them?

Why give a failing school more money? More money does not mean the school will do better. Schools fail for many reasons, including bad luck with demographics, poor leadership, bad teachers, etc. Simply throwing money at the problem doesn't make it go away.

Like in Tx right now, they are paying the teachers at the H.S.'s around where i live or around that cities where i live more money b/c of the performance and trying to keep them and how good the school is. Check out the Tx schools and you'll see what I'm talking about.

because if you gave a Bonus to the schools doing bad, then schools would have no incentive to do good, they could be bad all the time and get loads of money
same thing with workers, you give RAISES to the GOOD workers, not the bad ones
just Logic 101
