It was pretty freaky!lol I was sorta jumpy w/ those stupid sounds effects.hehe Sorta kinda scary, my friends immediately ran out of the auditorium.^_^ But dang it was long.

It was a lame re-make of the original.
The first one was far creepier.
The kid in the new one didn't even have 2 lines in the whole movie. All he did was stare out of the screen and TRY to look creepy. I thought it was bad. I hope they don't bother to re-make all of them. what a waste of money that would be.

I was lucky enough to see the original when it premiered (yeah, many years ago) & then I went to see this one - I was really impressed with the remake. It was just as scary, just as well done, really great cast & special effects. I loved it!!! Got scared all over again, just like when I was 14 - ain't that silly?! But all in all it was a pretty decent remake & on it's own it was a great movie.

The original move was very scary... I saw it in high school and was afraid to even sleep. Haven't seen the recent movie though... you might want to check out the first movie and compare it to the recent one. My guess is you'll find the first one scarier.

The original was an excellent movie, I don't know why people feel the need to redo good movies. Don't bother with the remake.
