Outgoing server is also known as the SMTP server.

- If you have Yahoo! Mail Plus or Rogers Yahoo! Mail (paid service), you can configure your mail client directly:

Yahoo's outgoing server address is:

smtp.mail.yahoo.com

http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/plus/mail/pop/pop-06.html

*Note: this does NOT work for FREE Yahoo! Mail.

- If you only have FREE service, you can also use Yahoo! Mail through Outlook Express using this software:

YPOPs!

YPOPs! acts as a gateway and automatically downloads your mail to mail clients like Microsoft Outlook and Mozilla Thunderbird. It provides virtual POP3 and SMTP access through HTTP. It does NOT go against the license agreements of Yahoo! Mail, so it's completely legitimate.

You have to install this software first and then configure Outlook.

You can download it here:

If you have Outlook Express 6, follow these steps:

If you have Outlook Express 1-5, follow these steps:

When you sign up with an ISP, they will give you the information to put into that "outgoing server" field. Also you have to input your user name and password. The following link tells you how to setup Outlook Express for an ISP but you still must have the info from your ISP to input.

I think that you're asking how to set up yahoo mail in outlook express? Unless you have the 'plus' (paid) version you cannot.
