Is it possible that if you got pregnant while takin bc pills that if you continue them not knowin your pregnant that it can cause and abortion?

I would not think that if you got pregnant on the pills, it would abort. I would think more along the lines of under-developement, so if you feel you are pregnant, get tested and go from there. The reason you got pregnant on the pill is that your body is not responding to the dose, so its probibly not going to abort...

No, it just causes serious problems for the baby.
My friend didn't know she was pregnant until 5 months and kept taking the pill.
If you're looking to get an abortion, see a professional. Don't try to do it yourself.

Birth control pills in case you have forgotten prevents pregnancy. If you wish to have a baby then you must stop taking birth control pills to get pregnant. Make sense huh?

there are some pills that also have what they call an abortifacent (sp?) in them you'd have to ask your doc about that though. as for if yours do, who knows but are you trying to abort this way? if so its not smart to do so, it can hurt you and the baby. if you are pregnant go to your ob/gyn and test for sure then ask them about all of your choices
