Wow! I'd like to make MOST of these answers the best one. But for the one who said if a rapist can't get an erection then he'll use an object. Well simple. Chop his hands off too. And for anyone disagreeing with me then have it happen to you , a child, YOUR child, a friend whoever, THEN tell me you disagree.

It is a difficult question. Everyone knows that rape is wrong and that anyone who commits the crime should be punished. But I would have to say neither answer. Some countries do torture than painfully kill rapists, but that still does nothing. Most victims have trouble even reporting the rape, let alone facing their rapist in court. While it does give one sense of closure it doesn't really resolve the mental, emotional, and lingering physical trauma that a rape can cause. And many rapists are repeat offenders, I don't think that facing the victim changes anything. The best solution in my eyes is to let them go to jail. Prisoners do not take kindly to rapists, child molesters, or women beaters. Let them rot in prison and experience rape prison ***** style.

Castrating rapists doesn't stop them assaulting. They just use objects instead. Some rapists cannot get an erection at the time and also use an object.
Just inventing increasingly sadistic 'punishments' for various offenders doesn't make us any better than them; its also their fantasy. The only difference is when they act theirs out.
It also does nothing to prevent attacks, which is the best option. Punishment happens after the fact; better that it doesn't happen.

painfully castrated and then left to face the victims who are free to say/do whatever they wish to the rapist. Murder is not allowed cos its a get out clause
BUT its only allowed if the evidence against the rapist is flawless

Painful castration, then put in a room full of those who will victimize the rapist the same way he did someone else, then in a room full of victims and their families to do as they please with him!! I think that the same thing should happen to those who molest children.

Definetly the latter,i hate rapists and child abusers and think they should all be shot,i`m not normally a violent person but these vile monsters make my blood boil.
