Am having problems installing my OS(wondows), everytime i do it says that setup has encountered a fatal error and setup will not cont. It further more says that this probl. can be fixed by adjusting my time using doc

Check to see if you have a scratch on the CD, if it isn't able to properly read an install file it will die (horribly).

Ask who knows a bit of DOS to change the time - Usally computer geeks know DOS (I just cant remeber how to change time)

do you install from your desktop or do you use an install disk and run installation from when you first startup your computer. It might work that way. If not, then run all the diagnostics you can to get rid of errors and viruses.
Also, if you're having problems with your date and time, you can press delete (or whatever key you're prompted to press) when yor computer starts up and go into the BIOS settings. There you change your time.
