Actually if you knew anything about swinging the most successful couples the women runs the lifestyle. My wife got me in it.. .5 years later it still great, for us it is friends with benefits. But you can’t force anybody into it. Just not everybodys cup of tea.

Dave, the strongest marriages are those in which you demonstrate unselfish love to your spouse, regardless of whether it's returned or not. Wanting to swing is a selfish thing. Be patient and try to win her over with unselfishness for a long time. Then she may be more interested in trying something new.

You went wrong by trying to "talk her into it". Swinging is something that should be contemplated together, talked about, and discussed for a LONG time.
When we decided to start swinging, it took over a year for things to really get into motion. It's not something that you can say, "Hey honey, let's go have sex with other people this weekend." You need to talk about it, then talk about it again, and again, and when you think you're ready, you talk about it one more time.
