Mondays signify the start of a new week and for most that means going back to work or hitting the old school books for yet another week of drudgery. If you have had a rather enjoyable weekend, the prospect of a "Monday" kinda converts your mood from "happy weekender" to "garfield". As for rain, weather affects mood in the most primitive part of the brain. When you see sunshine, feel good hormones called endorphines are released thus making you feel happier. The sun also gives your body a dose of Vitamin D which helps with calcium absporption. When the clouds roll in, not only can it put a damper on your plans for the day making you feel down, but you arent getting that Vitamin D. So the next time a Monday or a rainy day come around, think about the weekend coming up or the beach plans you have made for the future and you are sure to feel alot better!

On rainy days you can't get out and on Mondays, you're trying to recover from the weekend.

Well Monday is obvious, lol, start of your work week but...when it is raining and the sun isn't out it is normal to feel a little down. The sun provides our brains with the chemical seratonin. Seratonin makes you feel happy, positive, etc. Those who have depression, etc , often are lacking seratonin or have chemical inbalances due to a lack of seratonin.

I love your cat picture. Maybe your cat doesn't like water and Mondays so you don't either?

Mondays are just terrible and I don't know anyone who likes them. And I like the rain so I don't know why you don't.

Because you're a sensitive, caring soul! You have the heart of a poet. And probably because your cat picture is so cute, it breaks my heart.
