When I put the fabric softener in its compartment it doesn't empty onto the clothes. Has anyone else had this problem or any idea how to fix it. My warranty ran out in March

Drop an Alka-Seltzer tablet into boiling water and pour it into the compartment to de-gunk it. Vinegar will also work but make sure that only old rags are in the machine before you do it.

If I had to guess, I would say that the softener has gummed up whatever door opens and closes to release it. I would try pouring a bunch of very hot water (but not boiling) in there to try and rinse it out.

figure out how its supposed to dispense and the clean out the holes or door.
