Set a goal for yourself. Look forward to what things you want. Write those down. Add to the list as you see more in store for you in the future. Read self help books on success. Read, study and keep your eye on the goal. It CAN and WILL happen.

First of all, why do you want to be a "workaholic?" That life-style is nearly as bad as being a couch potato. Somewhere between the two extremes is a productive and fulfilling life.
Second, don't set your goals so high that they are unachievable. In other words, take baby steps at first. For example, tell yourself that today you will look through the classified ads in the newspaper and circle the ones that you might qualify for.
Tomorrow, your goal will be to contact your circled prospects to arrange an interview.
The next day, sit down and write your resume.
The following day, find out what information you can about the companies where you'll be interviewing. This may mean spending a few hours on the Internet.
Then, figure out what clothes are appropriate to wear to the interview. Have them cleaned and ironed. Review your resume. Review your notes about the first company that will interview you.
Be on time for your appointment. Shake hands firmly, but not too hard. Look the interviewer in the eye. Be honest with your answers. And, by all means, be ready for this question: "Why do you want this job?"
Good luck.

Dont you think if that was what you really wanted you would do it? Why not try for just a little further in the direction from where you are. Take baby steps.
Start by making daily goals for yourself, even do one thing a day and as you have success your confidence will build and you will do more things.
Also, if you find something you really like to do you will be more motivated to do it. I bet you arent as lazy as you think, you just need motivation.

This answer applies to most if not all life altering practices.
In order to be industrial, you must be industrial. No, I'm not nuts. If you want to be industrial, be industrial. You do what you believe is normal for you to do. To change that, do differently. Be industrial. Soon, your ID will believe being industrial is normal for you and will strive to be so. Then you can become a type "A" personality with all the accompaniments there in. Like heart attacks, constant anxiety, unhappiness and early death.

Yes you can. On the other hand, maybe you "want" to be something you don't really want to be, just because it's what society values. Why don't you set reasonable goals for yourself that you can accomplish without giving up your life. Now get off your butt.

All 'work-a-holics' involve 'them-selves' because 'they' have a vision or purpose to 'work' towards....and all 'you' need is a 'purpose' otherwise 'you' will end up 'working' for 'your' green stamps from WELFARE....so get a life....
