any pain killer would work... but I'm sure that Darvocet would just knock you on your butt.

Darvocet is a narcotic pain reliever, but you really don't need something like that unless your doctor has specifically prescribed it for severe periods or endometriosis.

Usually, an anti-inflammatory like Motrin (generic Ibuprofen) works just fine. I take 2 or 3 (400 mg or 600 mg) and my cramps are gone.

darvocets are anti-imflamitories as well as pain killers, so it will probably help take the pressure off of the areas that is causing the pain, as well as getting rid of the pain you already have.

i hate darvocet it has never worked for me i take vicoprofen or hydroxyzine but they make you drowsy so it would be your choice

It should, but that is like washing your dog with a fire hose. A little overkill.
