how do you look up yahoo users without adding them to your list?

I am trying to find a friend on yahoo but just in case I don't want to add them to my list without looking at their profile first so as not to add the wrong person

Go to the yahoo member directory, and type in their Yahoo ID. If you can't find the directory, type in yahoo member directory and hit search. Then click on Yahoo member directory. When you type in someone's Yahoo ID or real name, you have to also specify that it is one or the other. P. S. My name is Rosie, and I am a chat-a-holic. LOL
