Or do you sometimes read a question and think, 'Man you need to get off the internet and call the darn doctor. I sometimes wounder what kind of parents these people are going to beThe lack of common sence is killing me. Anyone else feel the same?

Nope, it's not just you. I, too, scratch my head in wonderment at all the DUMB things people ask.

Not only that, but the 'jokes' you can see them for what they are.

The real joke are the people who actually think that their 21 month old baby -- who's mom is 18 (which means she was 17 when she gave birth) and was caught by the baby's dad screwing around with another guy -- even has a CHANCE at a normal, stable life.

So the DUMB society is what really gets me.

Right on the mark! But they don't' necessarily have to get off the Internet. Sometimes it's okay to have a little laugh on the side for there are some innocent jokes too. We need to single out those users who are deliberately bullying us, those who are using obscenities to force the FCC to close this forum and force them to recognize how ignorant the are; we should, among us, come up with a list of the stupidest of the week and make them the laughing stocks of the forum. Even though the rely on anonymity, if they have any shred of dignity, the must feel embarrassed

Very much, but then I think, I don't know who the folks are. Think about it, that stupid question may have just come from some 12 year old girl who got PG by some boy. Does the average 12 year have the common sense to go to the doctor?

I may have had the common sense at the age, but would have been too scared to do so.

yeah I think so all the time. Not just in the pregnancy section, but everywhere. People say they are pregnant, and yet they are bleeding, asking if they should go to the doc, saying their kid has a fever over 100, or that they haven't had a period for a year. Where oh where has the common sense gone?

same here, now I understand some of the questions of first time parents, like how to potty train and stop bed wetting and stuff of that sort, but if you're on here and are asking if you can get pregnant from precum, then you should not be having sex and you are obviously not old enough to be a parent. You need to know the basics in order to provide the basics.

I have to agree. Before there was internet what were these people doing? Sitting around looking stupid or something? And those with kids just kill me...if your child is sick or something do not get online asking questions...just get off your butt and take your child to the hospital. Some people are acting like Yahoo is some medical center or something.

One of the things many fail to consider is that this is a world wide venue. Just because something doesn't make sense to you it may well be quite relevant to someone else. I will, however, agree that there are a preponderance of inane questions being asked. Many also being asked out of context of the group they were being asked in.

Yes and no. Some people have been to the doctor and are just looking for reassurance. But there are some really stupid people on here who will try to get others on here to diagnose them.

I agree 100%
I also see a lot of questions so outrageous I wonder how people get through life on their own. I fear for these children.

Oh yeah. Sometimes you can see the things swimming in the shallow end of the gene pool just itching to make it to shore...
